W Club: By the Numbers

The W Club is dedicated to helping Whitman’s varsity student-athletes achieve competitive excellence. This year they raised funds to support recruitment, competitive travel and coaching, as well as hosting a golf tournament and organizing numerous supporter gatherings at Whitman competitions in the Northwest.

Support by the Numbers:

In 2009–10, 633 alumni, parents and friends contributed to the W Club. Together, they raised $309,392 to provide immediate support for varsity athletics and funded endowments of $325,836 that will provide W Club support in perpetuity.
