illuminates Whitman’s 25-year-plus tradition of sending incoming
first-years (including this year’s crop) a box of Walla Walla Sweet
Onions.
Where in the World Have You Met a Whittie?
Dan Moore ’99, a web developer from Boulder, Colo., ran into Susan
McCarthy ’87, an associate professor of political science at Providence
College (and member of the undefeated 1987 Whitman water polo team), in
summer 2009.
