The Outdoor Program is a student run, outdoor recreation cooperative sponsored by the Associated Students of Whitman College (ASWC). Our main function is to assist people in their outdoor pursuits. Our goal is to offer safe and rewarding recreational experiences in addition to quality rental equipment in the fields of hiking, backpacking, climbing, kayaking, rafting, sailboarding, and skiing. Activities cater to novice, beginner, and intermediate skill levels. On campus we are active in organizing slide shows, instructional seminars, non-credit classes, and films. Outdoor Program activities are open to anyone at anytime.
