America Reads and America Counts

Whitman College dedicates a portion of its Federal Work Study funds to support internships in the America Reads and America Counts Programs. These tutoring programs, which began during the Spring semester 1997, are aimed at increasing English literacy and mathematical skills among school age children. This program is overseen by the Career Center.
