Nearly half of all Whitman students studies abroad for at least one semester during their four years here choosing from among 38 Whitman-affiliated programs and over 170 approved programs in Africa, Asia, Latin America, Western Europe and Oceania. Whether a student wants to enroll directly at a Scottish university, engage in field studies related on development issues in East Africa, study music in Vienna, or conduct scientific research from a field station in Costa Rica”s rain forest, there is something for everyone.
