Stop at the Welty Student Health Center before you travel!!!

Your Student Health Center provides pre-travel counseling, immunizations and prescriptions for travel. Please schedule your consultation at least 4-6 weeks ahead of your departure date with the Director of Student Health at extension 5040 or nesscl@whitman.edu.

What to bring to your appointment:

  • Travel Itinerary
  • Immunization card
  • Any required forms for completion

Immunizations Available at your Student Health Center

  • Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B
  • Meningitis
  • MMR and TB testing
  • Typhoid
  • Polio
  • Seasonal Influenza
  • Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis
  • Malaria and traveler's diarrhea prophylactic medications
  • Yellow Fever
  • Rabies
  • Japanese Encephalitis
