Health Center Information - Fall 2012
The Welty Student Health Services staff extends you a warm welcome. We are here to offer assistance with your health concerns and needs.
Our Health Center is open 24 hours per day for all degree seeking students throughout the academic year regardless of type of insurance coverage. The majority of services are provided at little or no cost to students. Whitman Health Center does not bill insurance for services but receipts are available upon request.
In order for us to provide the most effective health service, it is essential that you comply with the following Health Center requirements. Please return the following medical forms to us by July 10, 2012, or January 2, 2013 for second semester starts:
• Medical History completed by the student
• TB screening tool
• Immunization form (2 doses of MMR vaccine required)
• Proof of health insurance coverage or purchase of the Whitman College Aetna plan. Waiver/purchase health insurance is included in the Pre-registration Checklist at cleo.whitman.edu.
Students cannot register for classes until all requirements have been met. If you have any questions regarding services at the Health Center or these reqirements, please call us at (509) 527-5281.
