Monday, May 12 Deadline for December candidates to declare intent to take exams in September.
Monday, Sept. 8 Deadline for seniors to declare intent to take exams in January.
Monday, Sept. 22 Noon deadline for submission of Honors proposals for May candidates (English 498). Note that this deadline is earlier than the College deadline.
W-S, Sept. 24-27 September writtens.
Monday, October 8 Noon deadline for submission of thesis proposals for those theses to be completed in the spring for English 497. (The proposal is due in the 7th week of the semester before the thesis is written.)
Week of Nov. 17 Orals for those who took September writtens.
W-S, Jan. 14-17
 January writtens.
Monday, Feb. 2 Noon deadline for submission of Honors proposals for December candidates. Note that this deadline is earlier than the College deadline.
Mid-Feb. to early Mar Orals for those who took January writtens.
Monday, March 2
 Noon deadline for submission of thesis proposals for those theses to be completed in the fall. (The proposal is due in the 7th week of the semester before the thesis is written.)

 Deadline for submission of Honors theses and for English 497 theses to major adviser.

 Deadline for submission of the file copy of Honors theses (English 498) to Penrose Library and final copy of theses (English 497) to the adviser.

 Deadline for submission of the file copy of Honors theses (English 498) to Penrose Library.
