of Organization: The Blue Mountain Humane Society is committed to
eliminating the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets by
ending overpopulation and homelessness. To these ends, the society
provides shelter, spay / neuter, foster care, adoption, and re-homing
services for companion animals, as well as education, animal control,
and cruelty and neglect investigation services.
Position Title: Customer Service Assistant
Description of position: The main duty of a Customer Service Assistant
is to provide excellent customer service to individuals or animals
seeking help from the Humane Society. This is to be done in a polite,
positive and professional manner. The Customer Service Assistant will
answer to the Customer Service Manager, the Director of Operations and
ultimately to the Executive Director when necessary.
Skills/Background: Qualifications:
-Passion for animal care and serving people
-Excellent Customer Service
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
-General computer knowledge
- Effective Communication Skills
-Team Player with positive attitude
Physical Requirements:
-Sitting for extended periods of time
-Standing
-Stooping
-Lifting up to 50lbs
Wage: 8.55 Work Study
