Maxey Hall of Social Sciences is named in honor of the College's seventh president, Chester C. Maxey. Maxey houses the departments of education, sociology, anthropology, economics, history, politics, and psychology and the Maxey Computer Lab, open to students 24 hours a day. Other features include a natural history museum and a 350-seat lecture hall.
