Elliott Okantey - Finance Chair

Elliott Okantey ’09 is from the Seattle area, where he has lived all his life. He was elected to the position of Finance Chair for the 2007-2008 year after spending his freshman and sophomore years serving his class as an ASWC Senator. Both those years, Okantey served on the Finance Committee and gained experience that he hopes will make his year in charge of the committee productive, efficient, and smooth-running. Okantey is majoring in history and is also pursing a Rhetoric and Film Studies minor. Outside of his ASWC duties, his extracurricular interests include his involvement with the Class of 2009 Committee. He has also done Phonathon calling for development, officiated intramural football, hosted shows on KWCW-FM, and has worked in Instructional Multimedia Services. A serious Seattle sports fan and a news junkie, Okantey spends his free time absorbing all the sports and news that he can.
