Lifecycle Planning
The ASWC Lifecycle Fund was created in the 2003 fiscal year to ensure that ASWC has the funds needed in the future to ensure that our organizations have the technology and capital necessary to meet the needs of the student body. The Lifecycle Committee oversees the technology and capital plan, as well as decides on disbursements from the Fund. The Committee is comprised of the Finance Chair, two members of the Finance Committee, the Editor of the Pioneer, the General Manager of KWCW, the Director of the Sound and Lights Office, the ASWC Adviser who sits ex-officio, and a representative from the College Business Office who sits ex-officio. The current Committee members are:

  • Ajay Abraham, Finance Chair (Chair)
  • Meghan Bunch, Pioneer Editor in Chief
  • Conor Johnson, Director of ASWC Sound and Lights
  • Brian Kilgore, General Manager of KWCW
  • Finance Committee Senator to be determined
  • Finance Committee Senator to be determined

  • Walter Froese, Controller of Whitman College, ex-officio
  • George Theo, ASWC Adviser, ex-officio
Each year, the Finance Committee includes funds in its budget to replace equipment on the Lifecycle Plan. For more information, or a copy of the plan, please contact Meagan Reed at reedme@whitman.edu .
