Whitman faculty across the academic spectrum will lead this weekend seminar in Washington’s spectacular North Cascades National Park. Stimulate your mind with a morning lecture series by faculty from a variety of disciplines, and your senses in afternoon activities such as canoeing, art, a historical boat tour, hiking, or swimming. Enjoy evening campfire stories of the indigenous peoples of the northwest, relax during socials and meals visiting with the teachers you’ll wish you’d had, and catch a first-hand glimpse of the current Whitman student learning experience. All this is enhanced by the towering peaks of the North Cascades and the brilliant blue glacial waters of Lake Diablo, in one of the wildest, most biologically diverse landscapes in North America.
