Annual Fund
The Senior Fund was your first step in giving back to the college, and the Class of 2008 had a 30.65% participation rate! In the coming years, the college will ask for your support as alumni in its continuing efforts to provide a quality education to future students.

As you begin your careers or move on to graduate school, the size of your gift is not as important as your PARTICIPATION by making a gift of even $5 or $10 once each fiscal year. The percentage of people in your class who give each fiscal year (July 1 to June 30) is crucial. Philanthropic organizations routinely look at alumni participation as a vote of confidence by the College’s most important constituency – its alumni. Corporations and foundations are more likely to give large grants to institutions with a high level of alumni participation – and Whitman has historically been one of the top in the nation. Whitman alumni have always been strong supporters and we need YOUR help to continue that tradition!

Please, support your annual fund in one of four ways:

  • Give online at https://rs.whitman.edu/~gifts/
  • Call 800-835-9448 Ext. 2 to make your gift with a VISA or MasterCard
  • Send a check to: The Whitman Fund, 345 Boyer Avenue, Walla Walla, WA 99362
  • Set up a monthly payroll or automatic debit - $10 x 12 months is $120!! Wow!
If you would like to stay involved with the college, the Annual Fund Office is always looking for volunteers to act as Class Representatives and Associate Class Representatives.

Increase your job skills by being a Annual Fund volunteer! Contact Gary Lunden, Director of the Annual Fund at lundenfg@whitman.edu for more information.
