7:45-8:15 a.m. REGISTRATION. Complimentary continental breakfast.  Foyer, Reid Campus Center.  Registration continues in Penrose House, Office of Admission, after 8:15 a.m.
8:15-8:50 a.m. WELCOME TO WHITMAN COLLEGE.  Lori Bettison-Varga, Provost and Dean of Faculty, and Tony Cabasco, Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, will remark on the "Whitman Experience" and provide schedule updates. Young Ballroom, Reid Campus Center.  
9:00-9:45 a.m. THE WHITMAN CURRICULUM.  Julia Davis, Assistant Professor of Philosophy and General Studies, will provide an overview of the Whitman curriculum and the General Studies program.  Young Ballroom, Reid Campus Center.

CLASS VISITS.  Please pick up a list of classes you may attend at Registration.  If you'd like to attend an Antiquity and Modernity class (CORE, 11:00 a.m.), pick up a section assignment at Registration, 7:45 - 8:15 a.m. in the Reid Campus Center.  Only students are invited to attend classes.  Family members may take this time to attend other activities around campus.

CAMPUS TOURS.  Take a walk through the Whitman College campus with a student guide.  The first tour departs from the Reid Campus Center at 9:00 a.m.  All other tours will leave from the front steps of Penrose Library.
10:00-10:50 a.m. FINANCIAL AID.  Varga Fox, Director of Financial Aid Services, will discuss the financial aid application and awarding process at Whitman. Kimball Theatre, Hunter Conservatory.
10:00-10:50 a.m. INTERCULTURAL CENTER OPPORTUNITIES.  The staff of the Intercultural Center and current students will host a discussion about diversity issues on Whitman's campus. GO2, Reid Campus Center.
11:00-11:50 a.m. LIVING AT WHITMAN.  Sean Gehrke, Assistant Director of Residence Life, and members of the Residence Life staff will discuss Whitman's residence hall experience.  Main Lounge, Jewett Hall.
11:00-11:50 a.m. AN INSIDER'S GUIDE TO THE ADMISSION PROCESS.  Curious about how admission decisions at Whitman are made?  Tony Cabasco, Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, invites you to attend this session to discuss the application and admission process.  Kimball Theatre, Hunter Conservatory.
12:00-12:50 p.m HAVE LUNCH ON US!  Join us for a complimentary lunch on the side lawn, Reid Campus Center.  In the case of rain, please join us in Young Ballroom, Reid Campus Center.
1:00-1:50 p.m. STUDENT POINT OF VIEW.  A student panel will offer personal perspectives on their Whitman experiences.  Main Lounge, Jewett Hall.
1:00-1:50 p.m. VARSITY ATHLETICS.  Dean Snider , Athletic Director, the coaching staff, and varsity athletes will be available to discuss their programs and answer questions about varsity athletics at Whitman.  Maxey Auditorium, Maxey Hall.
1:00-1:50 p.m. HARPER JOY THEATRE OPEN HOUSE.  Nancy Simon, the Garret Professor of Dramatic Art, will lead a tour of the theatre facilities and answer questions about the department.  Foyer, Harper Joy Theatre.
2:00-2:50 p.m. OFF-CAMPUS STUDY.  Susan Holme-Brick, Director of International Programs, and Rebecca Miller, Assistant Director of Study Abroad, will discuss Whitman's wide array of international and domestic off-campus study programs. Olin 130, Olin Hall.

2:30-2:50 p.m.
PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS, COOPERATIVES, AND COMBINED MAJORS.  Faculty  members and students will present overviews and lead discussions about Whitman's special programs in Asian Studies, Computer Science, Education, Engineering, Environmental Studies, BBMB, Law, and Veterinary Medicine.

2:00-2:50 p.m. INTEREST HOUSE TOUR.  Interest House Community Resident Director, Evan Carmen will lead you on a tour of Whitman's 11 interest houses.  Fine Arts House front porch, Corner of Boyer Avenue and Otis Street.
2:00-2:50 p.m. OUTDOOR PROGRAM SLIDE SHOW.  Join Ben Hayes, the Outdoor Program Speaker and Events Intern, for a slide show and discussion about the recreational opportunities sponsored by Whitman College.  GO2, Reid Campus Center.
3:00-4:00 p.m. CLOSING RECEPTION.  Complimentary refreshments, a closing reception, and student performances by Sirens of Swank, Whitman's all-female a capella group, and Theatre Sports, Whitman's improv comedy group.  Not to miss!  Maxey Auditorium, Maxey Hall.
