REGISTRATION. Complimentary continental breakfast. Foyer, Reid Campus Center. Registration continues in Penrose House (Office of Admission) after 8:15 a.m. 

8:15-8:50 a.m. WELCOME TO WHITMAN COLLEGE. Lori Bettison-Varga, Provost and Dean of Faculty, and Kevin Dyerly, Director of Admission, will remark on the “Whitman Experience” and provide schedule updates. Young Ballroom, Reid Campus Center.
9:00-9:45 a.m.

THE WHITMAN CURRICULUM. Sharon Alker, Assistant Professor of English and General Studies will provide an overview of the Whitman curriculum and the General Studies program. Young Ballroom, Reid Campus Center. 

9:00, 10:00, 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. CLASS VISITS. Please see your packet for a list of classes you may attend. If you’d like to attend an Antiquity and Modernity class (CORE, 11:00 a.m.), pick up a section assignment at Registration. Only students are invited to attend classes. Family members may take this time to attend other activities around campus.
9:00, 10:00, 11:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m. CAMPUS TOURS. Take a walk through the Whitman College campus with a student guide. The first tour departs from the Reid Campus Center at 9:00 a.m. All other tours will leave from the front steps of Penrose Library.
10:00-10:50 a.m.
OFF-CAMPUS STUDY. Susan Holme-Brick, Director of International Programs, and students will discuss Whitman's wide array of international and domestic off-campus study programs. Kimball Theatre, Hunter Conservatory.
11:00-11:50 a.m. LIVING AT WHITMAN. Sean Gehrke, Associate Director of Residence Life and Housing, and members of the Residence Life staff will discuss Whitman’s residence hall experience. Main Lounge, Anderson Hall.
11:00-11:50 a.m. MEET THE Director. Curious about how admission decisions at Whitman are made? Kevin Dyerly, Director of Admission, invites you to attend this session to discuss the application and admission process. Information about financial aid and the awarding process at Whitman will also be provided. Kimball Theatre, Hunter Conservatory.
11:30-12:45 p.m. HAVE LUNCH ON US! Join us for a complimentary lunch in Lyman, Prentiss, or Jewett dining halls. Please present the meal ticket you received at registration as you enter. One meal ticket per family.

1:00-1:50 p.m. STUDENT POINT OF VIEW. A student panel will offer personal perspectives on their Whitman experiences. Main Lounge, Jewett Hall.
1:00-1:50 p.m. VARSITY ATHLETICS. Dean Snider, Athletic Director, and the coaching staff will be available to discuss their programs and answer questions about varsity athletics at Whitman. Main Gym, Sherwood Athletic Center.
1:00-1:50 p.m. HARPER JOY THEATRE OPEN HOUSE. Professor Nancy Simon, Professor of Theatre, will lead a tour of the theatre facilities and answer questions about the department. Foyer, Harper Joy Theatre.
2:00-2:20 & 2:30-2:50 p.m. PRE-PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS, COOPERATIVES, AND COMBINED MAJORS. Faculty members and students will present overviews and lead discussions about Whitman's special programs.

2:00-2:50 p.m. INTEREST HOUSE TOUR. Interest House Community Resident Assistants will lead you on a tour of Whitman's 11 interest houses. Fine Arts House, Corner of Boyer Avenue and Otis Street.
2:00-2:50 p.m. INTERCULTURAL CENTER OPPORTUNITIES. Andrés Dankel-Ibáñez, Assistant Director of the Intercultural Center, and students will offer personal perspectives on their involvement in student clubs and the Intercultural Center at Whitman.  Room G02, Reid Campus Center.
2:00-2:50 p.m. OUTDOOR PROGRAM SLIDE SHOW. Join members of Whitman’s Outdoor Program (OP) for a slide show and discussion about the recreational opportunities sponsored by Whitman College. Room 130, Olin Hall.
3:00-4:00 p.m. CLOSING RECEPTION. Complimentary refreshments, a closing reception, and student performances by The Testostertones, The Sirens of Swank, and Schwa - Whitman's a capella groups. Maxey Hall Auditorium.
