Why did you choose Whitman?

I chose Whitman because of its intimate and tight-knit community. I also appreciate the way professors prioritize the success of their students. Lastly, Whitman is filled with passionate, genuine and driven students.

What is your best Whitman memory?

Working with the dance program has been not only fun and engaging, but a wonderful way for me to invest time, energy, and focus in a non-academic part of Whitman life. It has kept me balanced and introduced me to a unique way to express myself and meet new people.

What has Whitman taught you outside of the classroom?

Whitman has taught me how to think creatively and critically, and through the various extracurricular and leadership opportunities that I have had, I have become more perceptive, articulate and ambitious.
