BEST ASPECT OF YOUR INTERNSHIP “My internship this summer has combined my love of learning and love of the outdoors in a supportive environment in which I feel like I’m making a positive difference for my community. You can’t ask for much more than that. The small office (six people) in which I work has been great for learning new skills and making friends. I feel comfortable asking multiple people in the office questions on the work I’m doing if I get con- fused or need direction. They have all been more than happy to share their expertise with me. Every Thursday the office goes to lunch together. Everyone is friendly with each other and the office ethic supports collabora- tion and joint brainstorming to solve problems. This internship has exposed me to a shining example of how an office can work. I will carry it with me when I go into the working world. First, in order to know what to look for in a work setting and later, maybe, in order to fashion an office of my own.”
