The Medical Feasibility of Marijuana

by Blue Miner Young

This page is designed to serve as a reference on the topic of medicinal marijuana. Cannabis is currently classified by the DEA as a Class 1 Narcotic, which means that it is considered to be highly dangerous and without medical potential. The purpose of this page is to show that marijuana has shown great potential as a medicine for a number of ailments and that is should be rescheduled to a Class 2 standing by the DEA. This reclassification would allow licensed physicians to prescribe it and allow patients to recieve it from a licenced pharmacy. Total legalization of marijuana is not the goal of this page. There are many others on the Web that serve that purpose, but this page is solely designed to inform an intelligent, educated audience about the medicinal feasibility of marijuana.
