The Hall of Science houses the departments of astronomy, biology, chemistry, geology and physics. The biology department occupies 40% of the floor space of the building with lecture classes, teaching laboratories, student research rooms, collections, equipment rooms, and faculty offices and research labs.
: a new wing (click for picture) was added in 2001-02 to the Science Building, and the old wing is now being renovated. Biology gains a new greenhouse, teaching rooms, and modernized laboratories for student-faculty research.
