Senior season (2006-07) - Capped her fall semester by placing 15th in the 1,650-yard freestyle and 17th in the 100-yard butterfly at the Northwest Invitational.

Junior season (2005-06) - Placed 16th in the 1,650-yard freestyle at the Northwest Invitational before leaving campus for a study abroad semester in Costa Rica.

Sophomore season (2004-05) - Was part of the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team in a dual meet with Pacific ... Placed 18th in the 1,650-yard freestyle and 23rd in the 200-yard butterfly at the NWC Championships.

Freshman season (2003-04) - Finished 27th in both backstroke events at the NWC Championships.

Prep - Swam four seasons for coach Liane Pounds and the St. Mary's Blues, serving as a senior team captain ... Also swam 10 years for coach Martin Reichgott and the MJCC Stingrays club team, serving as a team captain and winning the Rudy Brand Inspirational Award.

Academics - Writing her senior thesis on how the illegal harvesting of palm trees has affected the height distribution of palms within two areas of Costa Rica's Baraulio Carriollo National Park from 2003 through 2006, and whether current rates of illegal harvesting are sustainable ... Studied in Atenas, Costa Rica during her 2006 spring semester ... Studied in Cuenca, Ecuador for seven weeks during the summer of 2004 ... Speaks Spanish.
