(also scored three goals in two exhibition game victories) ... Booted Whitman's first and third goals in a
4-1 victory over George Fox ... With an assist from older brother Greg Phillips, scored the lone Missionary
goal in a 1-1 overtime tie with Linfield ... Played in all 15 Whitman games, 14 as a starter.
Freshman season (2005) - Hit the scoring column in his second college game, contributing an assist
in a 4-3 loss to Corban ... Added three more assists in games against George Fox, Willamette and before
booting his first two college goals against Walla Walla College ... Played in all 19 Whitman games, 17
as a starter.
Prep - Played for Sparta United Premier, which placed second in state in 2004 ... Played for Waterford, a Class 1-A
high school that placed second in state at the 3-A level ... Was named First Team All-State with 24 goals in the season.
Academics - Majoring in Art and Religion at Whitman.
Personal - Son of Greg and Cynthia Phillips ... Older brother Greg Phillips also plays varsity
