Freshman season (2005) - Played in 14 of 19 games, one as a starter, and was second in team scoring with five goals ... Booted his first college goal in a 3-0 victory over Willamette ... Scored goals in the 24th and 25th minutes of play and then completed the hat trick with a second-half goal as Whitman rolled to a 6-0 win against Walla Walla College.

Prep - Played club soccer until eighth grade ... Played high school varsity soccer for two years ... High school team won league title and was in contention for winning state title.

Academics - Majoring in biology and geology.

Personal - Son of Ann Trehu and John Nabelek ... Competed as a freshman on the Whitman alpine ski team ... Enjoys fishing, hiking and reading fantasy books.
