8:11- Jeff- Good spot to get stuff done. Kids have gotten happier, and now they’re the happiest in the nation. ASWC gaining legitimacy, kids using it, benefiting from it. Get stuff done that stays done. George Theo is no more. We miss him, but it’s cool for him. Andrea acting director, Ashley, acting assistant director. A lot of experience on the programming side. No gap or break in programming or services with change of leadership, but no problem assumed.
8:14- Jeff’s general style: Use your computer. Many e-mails throughout the day. We can print to ASWC office new printer. Creating an archive of stuff. Baron will have access to info for press releases, etc.
-always look ahead. Know what’s going on a week ahead. Have agendas…esp. policy committee. Time will be more efficient. All people talking together, not separate committees.
-Elliot- Finance Chair arrives
8:17- Website- Biggest drive in next 2-3 weeks. We all need to get trained how to change things in farcry. Hopefully this week, probably not. Bios and pictures are going on website. Send by tomorrow or Wednesday.
-What blocks of time are open to schedule committee meetings, weekly EC meetings.
-Training wed, 8/29
-weekly updates, but a lot to get it off the ground. A lot of work on the front end.
-Send electronic documents for website to Jeff. Any archives, any plans, any forms – make it available
8:21- Jeff- Elliot, can we spare money for computer
Elliot- $600 on printer, but Lifecycle money is not available. Not office money
Jeff- $1100?
Shayna- New election computers?
Jeff- Track down money
8:22- Jeff- committee info. Need by tomorrow night.
8:24- Maile and Jeff should update bilaws. Due Friday 8/31. Might get pushed back, but better to get it right than get it back. Also Robert’s rule, Oversight stuff.”
First Year Elections
-Jeff- Somewhat open date. Distributing petitions. Rules have been looked at by Jeff. A lot of interest.

Shayna- hire oversight members after election. Need general election information to put up for every election. How much money do we have?
Elliot- Not much in office fund.
Shayna- Will contact WCTS. Any suggestions to make it more effective? Pass them on to Shayna.
Jeff- Discuss in Policy. Elections discussed more at first senate meeting (Sunday, 9/2)

8:42- Elliot- come sign forms for EC $$$.
Jeff- Sound & Lights want to know if they can buy money for their crew to have t-shirts. Crew should look like a crew.
Shayna- Should shirts be retained? Can we order a large number once?
Maile- Had worked it. Was worse with 10 employees than with 4 or 5.
Jeff- A lot of cool new things…can we get them t-shirts?
Elliot- I will sign that receipt.
8:47- Shayna- Communications Director Baron help with first year election?
Jeff- Board of trustees- policy committee- how do we appoint or nominate people to committees on the board of trustees. A certain degree or caliber of ability. Have people on those committees this year.
- Free expression wall. Survey of students shows a overwhelming support of wall. Sample size of 36. Do we need more samples?
John- no. this is enough.
8:51- Jeff- how many office hours? 3 or 5? 3 enough?
8:55 – Shayna- Suggestion Box. Library best place?
8:56- Jeff- Time should move fast. Too terse, to quick, over your head, slow Jeff down.
