Charles Timm-Ballard, Associate Professor of Art Art Department Chair Email: timmbacr@whitman.edu Bio: Professor Charles Timm-Ballard is a practicing artist with a thorough knowledge of ceramics, sculpture, art history, and contemporary art. He recieved his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Wisonsin in Milwaukee and his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Before teaching at Whitman, Prof. Timm-Ballard taught at Pomona College, Lawrence University, and the University of Nebraska. He has exhibited internationally, held a residency at the Europees Keramisch Werkcentrum, and is the winner of numerous awards.
