Currently, Amnesty's meetings are being held at the big white house across the street from Lyman. Walk between Lyman and the amphitheater, and look straight ahead; you should have no problem finding it.

You know that foul smell when you drive about a half hour from Walla Walla on
your way to Seattle? That's the Boise Cascade logging and paper milling company.

Boise Cascade cuts down trees in Mexico. At least one campesino has been
imprisoned and tortured for protesting against the company. Don't you think we
should know more about our Eastern Washington neighbors?

Amnesty International will be discussing Boise Cascade as well as human rights
abuses in Columbia MONDAY 10PM in the big WHITE HOUSE directly across the
street from the ampitheater.

Resources will be provided for letter writing, but please bring your own pen
and paper. EVERYONE IS WELCOME.
