Featured Fellowship: Luce Scholars Program
A year ago we successfully petitioned the Henry Luce Foundation to participate in the distinguished Luce Scholars Program. The program is an extraordinary opportunity for accomplished graduating seniors and especially graduate students and young professionals with limited or no experience in Asia to know it through a yearlong immersion in language and culture. Placements throughout Asia are tailored to each Luce Scholar. Evidence of potential leadership and accomplishment within a profession and in the broader community is key. If initiative, self-awareness, self-assurance, a sense of responsibility and humility define you, please consider the Luce Program and let us know of your intention to apply. Whitman can nominate as many as three candidates. For more information visit: http://www.whitman.edu/content/fellowships/fellowships/luce-scholars-program http://www.hluce.org/lsprogram.aspx Contact Keith Raether, director of Fellowships and Grants. |
