Young Alumni! Contribute to Livewire
Deadline for next issue is December 8, 2006

Any alumni from 1997 to 2006 can contribute a wedding or new baby picture! Fill out the Class Note submission form at www.whitman.edu/alumni/classnotesform.htm, then, email photos to livewire@whitman.edu. Electronically submitted photographs must be at least 300 dpi for a three- by five-inch photo and must include an accurate caption to make it in time for the next issue. You may mail original photos to Livewire, c/o Whitman College Alumni Office, 219 Marcus Street, Walla Walla, WA 99362. If you would like your photos returned to you, please include a note. Don't forget to name everyone in the picture!

Alumni, parents and friends of Whitman College are invited to join Stephanie Edwards Plowman '85, special collections librarian at Gonzaga University, for a Holiday reception and talk, "Dear Hearts and Gentle People: Bing Crosby and his Relationship with Spokane."

Following the talk, Stephanie will give us a rare opportunity to view items from the Crosby Collection not available to the general public. Be sure to RSVP.

    Save the date! • Jan 26-29, 2007 • Sun Valley, Idaho

    President George Bridges and Dr. Kari Tupper invite Whitman alumni, parents and friends to join them for skiing and socializing in beautiful Sun Valley.

    Rooms have been blocked at the Sun Valley Lodge for January 25-30; stay just the weekend, or longer.

    The Alumni Association is arranging group dinners--Friday at the lodge, and Saturday, transported by sleigh to a cozy cabin restaurant (reservations required).
