Whitties of the World
This month’s spotlight falls on Mindee Clem, ’97.
Soon after graduation this Theatre Literature major with an English minor followed her heart and calling to Hollywood to break into film and television work. In October 2001, after seven months of applications, she was accepted into the DGA’s Producer’s Training Program. This is an intense, two-year program structured to teach participants every aspect of ‘the biz’. Once she completes the grueling schedule set for her, she will be eligible to join the Director’s Guild to continue her progression.
Mindee Clem with Elvii
During her time on television shows such as Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and Gilmore Girls, Mindee has had the chance to meet and chat with stars as well as help crash a car into a restaurant (for CSI). Currently she is in Albuquerque, New Mexico, shooting a movie called Elvis Has Left the Building. You can check out other photos and keep up with Mindee’s adventures at http://mindeec.tripod.com/production.html. Look for her name in many movie credits to come!
