With the post World War II baby boomers coming of age and the end of European colonization, the world experienced a great deal of social and political change. May 14, 2005 Wine Tasting and Open House The Whitman Club of Portland and Soléna Cellars of Carlton, Oregon, invite alumni, parents, and friends to enjoy the Oregon countryside and a special winery open house. Carole Skeeters Stevens, '97, will host this event. Along with the winemaker Laurent Montalieu and Proprietor Danielle Andrus Montalieu, Carole will give insight into the challenges and rewards of winemaking in Oregon.
