Meet President Bridges in 2006!

You are invited to a reception introducing Whitman College's thirteenth president as we welcome George Bridges to the following areas:
Washington, DC -- February 6
6:30 p.m.
Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Avenue, NW Metro Stop: Union Station. Program includes presentation of the 2006 Pete Reid Award to Danielle Garbe '97.
RSVP by February 3.

Seattle, WA -- February 9
5:30 p.m.
Rainier Club, 820 4th Avenue. Parking is available for a fee across the street at Bank of America, United Parking and Jerry's Budget Garage. RSVP by February 3.

Portland, OR -- February 28
5:30 p.m.
The Governor Hotel, Renaissance Room, 614 SW 11th Avenue. RSVP by February 24.

Bellingham, WA -- March 1
5:30 pm
Bellingham Golf and Country Club 3729 Meridian Street. RSVP by February 24

Tacoma, WA -- March 2
6:00 p.m.
Tacoma Club, Wells Fargo Building, 1201 Pacific Avenue, 16th Floor. RSVP by February 24.

For the events listed, light hors d'oeuvres will be served and dress is business casual. RSVP to the Alumni Office at 1.800.835.9448, ext. 1, or hoglund@whitman.edu by the date noted above.

Les Miserables at the 5th Avenue Theatre.
Come see "the world's most popular musical" on its last Broadway touring company visit to Seattle with Whitman College alumni and parents. Professor Mary Anne O'Neil will talk on the creation of the musical, the history of its presentation and its relationship to modern French theater, and an overview of its relationship to Hugo's novel.

Join Kevin Pogue, professor of geology, as he shares the relationship between geology, geography, and climate and the production of high quality wine grapes with Whitman College alumni and parents.
