Interviews are an opportunity for you to meet one-on-one with an admission officer or senior intern to discuss your academic and extracurricular interests and ask questions about Whitman College and the application process.

Interviews last approximately 30 minutes, followed by an opportunity for anyone who accompanied you to Whitman to ask questions they may have. Interviews are recommended, but not required, and available for prospective first-year applicants from May 1 of your junior year through January 15 of your senior year. Transfer applicants may schedule interviews though March 1. We will do our best to accommodate all interview requests, but availability is limited, so we encourage you to submit your interview request at least two weeks prior to your visit.
