What has been your favorite class?  Social psychology has probably had the biggest impact on me outside of a science class. One lesson I can never forget is to always check our biases. In some way, how we feel about an interaction will be shaped by our upbringing, our perspectives, and our biases. We just cannot forget that other people will also have their own perspectives.

What advice do you have for prospective students?  Ultimately, your college search is about you. Go to the school that makes the most sense for you socially, academically, and financially. Go to a place where you see yourself thriving four years from now.

What is the most valuable thing that you've learned at Whitman?  Whitman has taught me balance. It's about finding the right combination of doing things that make you happy, doing things that make others happy, and doing things that are necessary for your long-term goals.
