Study Skills

Whitman's rigorous academic environment requires most students to modify the study skills they developed in high school so they can study more effectively and enjoy their free time more thoroughly. The Academic Resource Center staff is available to assist students as they develop a set of study skills that will work best for them. If you'd like to make an appointment with an ARC staff member for one-on-one study skills guidance, please call (509) 527-5213 or stop by our office in Memorial 325.  We also hold Study Skills Workshops throughout the semester on topics including time management, reading, note-taking, and test-prep strategies.  You may sign up for these workshops at the ARC, Memorial 325.  The forms and links included below may help you to improve your study skills.
