Commencement Activities Schedule
If you would like to include an event for your department in the Commencement Activities Schedule, please contact Krista Meyer no later than May 9, 2014 with details: email@example.com. Events will be added to the schedule as information comes available.
Information will be announced as we draw closer to the 2014 Commencement Ceremony
The Provost and Dean of the Faculty Office will provide a Memo to all participating faculty. The Faculty Memo contains important Commencement information, including processional order, how to pick up a cap & gown, key events to attend during the Commencement weekend, and much more. Remember to sign up at your respective division offices whether or not you will be joining the processional and participating in Commencement this year.
See locations for restrooms, seating, water stations, first aid, and much more before the Commencement Ceremony.
In the event of extreme weather, the Commencement ceremony will move indoors and begin at a later time than regularly scheduled. Due to limited seating indoors, different groups attending Commencement will be asked to watch the ceremony at different locations. Extreme weather is defined as conditions that are unsafe, such as severe winds, hail, or lightning. Conditions which are merely uncomfortable, such as steady or intermittent rain, will not invoke the Extreme Weather Plan.
Please click through to learn more about the Extreme Weather Plan, including where and when Faculty should plan to participate in an indoor ceremony.
