Caps & Gowns
All graduating seniors are required to purchase their cap and gown online no later than April 12, 2013 at 8:59 p.m.
Official Graduation Announcements are also available for purchase and will be shipped to the address of your choice. (optional).
Accessibility Information
To learn more information about seating, restrooms, and other accessibility information for friends or family with disabilities, please visit the Accessibility page. Special parking and a drop-off zone is available for guests with limited mobility. An ASL interpreter will be provided at both the Baccalaureate and Commencement ceremonies.
Wireless Access
Whitman Wi-Fi Hotspots, compliments of Spectrum Networks, is available for any visitor to access the Internet. Connect to the wireless network named whitman_wifi_hotspot .Your web browser will redirect to a special webpage with more information about the network you are connecting to. Follow the on-screen instructions to finalize your connection. No username or password is required.
Please note that the existing "whitman_wireless" network is reserved for faculty, staff and students and requires a log-in to access.

Airport
The Walla Walla airport (ALW) is approximately 10 minutes from campus. There are usually two flights per day and all flights connect through Seattle.
The Pasco/Tri-Cities Airport (PSC) is approximately one hour from campus. It has a wider selection of available flights and connections. Please note that shuttle service is limited between Pasco and Walla Walla. Car rentals are available at the airport
Extreme Weather
In the event of extreme weather, the Commencement ceremony will move indoors and begin at a later time than regularly scheduled. Due to limited seating indoors, different groups attending Commencement will be asked to watch the ceremony at different locations. Extreme weather is defined as conditions that are unsafe, such as severe winds, hail, or lightning. Conditions which are merely uncomfortable, such as steady or intermittent rain, will not result in the invoking of the Extreme Weather Plan.
